1. Who these terms are with
"We," "us," and "matt clarke / ai" mean the consulting practice operated by Matt Clarke, accessed through mattclarkeai.com. "You" means the visitor, prospect, or client engaging with the site or the practice.
2. Scope of services
matt clarke / ai provides AI automation consulting and custom build work for businesses in regulated industries (health, legal, medical-legal, and adjacent niches). Engagements are governed by a signed statement of work that supersedes anything on this site.
3. Use of the site
The site is provided as-is. Content is for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, medical, or investment advice. Reliance on the site without an engaged consulting relationship is at your own risk.
4. Intellectual property
Content, copy, and design on this site belong to matt clarke / ai. Clients receive a license to deliverables produced under their statement of work, on the terms stated in that statement of work.
5. Confidentiality
Information shared on a discovery call or in a written brief is treated as confidential, regardless of whether an NDA has been signed. Case studies and references are only published with the named client's review and approval.
6. Compliance and regulated work
matt clarke / ai builds with compliance constraints in mind, but the client remains responsible for regulatory compliance in their jurisdiction and industry. Sign-off on a delivered system is the client's; we do not act as a regulatory authority.
7. Limitation of liability
Liability under any engagement is capped at the fees paid for that engagement, except where local law forbids the cap. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction stated on the executed statement of work. Where no statement of work exists, English law applies and disputes are heard in the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be flagged on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
